The Licensing International Excellence Awards are bestowed on the best brands, products and initiatives of the year across all aspects of our robust industry – from live entertainment to fashion to toys, and everything in between. We could probably have 100 categories, and it still wouldn’t be enough to celebrate all the talent and success in this industry!
The Lynn Tait Most Promising Young Designer or Artist Award 2025 will be judged live by a panel of esteemed retail buyers.
As this special award category needs to be appreciated ‘in the flesh’ creatives are invited to submit ‘boards’ showcasing their artistic prowess. There is no online submission for this category.
The absolute deadline for entries for this category alone is Wednesday 23 July 2025.

Each entry should demonstrate the entrant’s design talents (both generally as well as on the greeting card front) as well as give an insight into their inspirations that serve to set them apart. The ‘boards’ can be any size (A1 is popular) and should include information about the entrant as well as a photograph of themselves if they so wish. And do not forget to include your contact details!

Nominations from retailers are sought for card and giftwrap publishers which have excelled in providing a great service to the independent greeting card retailer over the past year, including through the fulfilment of orders, marketing support, communication and resolution of queries. This award category is only open for retailers to nominate their card and wrap suppliers.

The Honorary Achievement Award is a very special accolade that is awarded to an individual in recognition of the contribution they have made to the greeting card industry. Nominees can come from any aspect of the industry (retailer, publisher, designer or supplier). All nominations will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
